A domestic dispute in Lokulakuli Village, Balanga Local Government Area of Gombe State, ended in a tragic double incident on Feb. 24, 2026.
According to sources, a misunderstanding between two brothers, Samuel Sule, 40, and Musa Sule, 29, escalated into violence around 9:00 p.m., during which Samuel allegedly stabbed Musa on the hand and back, leaving him with serious injuries.
Following the attack, Samuel reportedly fled the scene and later returned home at about 10:00 p.m., where he ingested rat poison (Aluminium Phosphide).
He became unconscious and was subsequently pronounced dead at the Cottage Hospital in Bambam.
The injured brother was treated and discharged, while the body of Samuel Sule was deposited at Kaltungo General Hospital Morgue.
Police sources say Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
