Killaboi, who is accused of murd£ring his girlfriend Augusta, appeared in court yesterday and today. The court has adjourned the case to April 22 and 23, 2026.
Augusta’s uncle gave a heartbreaking account of how they discovered her body at Killaboi’s residence in Ajah.
According to him, after they couldn’t reach Augusta for three days, they contacted her friend Oyin, who took them to Killaboi’s house. Because the estate required an invitation code before entry, they went with a soldier. The soldier spoke with the estate security, and one of the guards escorted them to the house.
When they arrived, the gate was slightly open, as if someone had left in a hurry. Augusta’s car was parked outside with the keys on the bonnet. They called out her name several times, but there was no response.
They tried to enter the apartment, but the estate security stopped them and asked for a search warrant.
Her uncle then rushed to a nearby police station and returned with two officers. Using a ladder, they gained access into the apartment. He said he was asked to climb up first.
Inside, he saw blood spread across the apartment. As he looked further, he discovered a swollen body, which he recognized as his niece, Augusta.
The police evacuated the body shortly after.
Later, Oyin—who was following Killaboi on social media—saw a confession he posted online, where he admitted to k!lling Augusta after a quarrel. The post was shown to the police, saved as evidence, and eventually went viral.
Investigations later revealed that the suspect allegedly stabb£d Augusta, mutilated her body, and fled the country.
The court will continue hearing the case on April 22 and 23, 2026.
