The leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has suspended its two-week warning strike for one month to give room for further negotiation with the Federal Government following intervention by stakeholders.
ASUU President, Professor Chris Piwuna, announced the suspension of the strike on Wednesday in Abuja after an emergency National Executive Council meeting of the Union in Abuja, saying the warning strike is suspended with effect from midnight, Wednesday, the 22nd October, 2025.
