The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested four suspects linked to a one-chance robbery syndicate and an attempted kidnapping operation, successfully rescuing two victims in Abuja.
According to a statement issued on Friday by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, the gang had previously robbed at least six unsuspecting passengers across the city before being tracked down and apprehended.
Police Action After Distress Call
The incident began at about 10:09 p.m. on October 8, 2025, when one Hajara Ali reported to the Life Camp Police Station that her sister, Comfort Habila, had been abducted by suspected one-chance robbers demanding ₦1 million ransom for her release.
