At least 11 people reportedly sustained burn injuries following a petrol tanker explosion near Oluku Market along the Benin–Lagos Expressway in Edo State.
The victims were reportedly rushed to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), while four people are feared dead. The death toll remains unconfirmed.
The explosion reportedly occurred after people attempted to scoop fuel from a fallen tanker, triggering a fire that engulfed nearby shops and vehicles.
