Father charged for ab¥sing 3-month-old daughter, says he was “training” her and teaching her to “set boundaries”

A Kentucky father accused of ab¥sing his three-month-old daughter reportedly told detectives he was “training” her and “set boundaries” when confronted over the alleged ab¥se. Shaun Webb, 36, was arrested on Friday, August 21, 2026, in Boone County, Kentucky, and faces 10 felony counts of criminal ab¥se.

According to deputies, an out-of-state family member gave them “nanny-cam” footage obtained from Webb’s wife, the baby’s mother. The footage allegedly shows Webb sl@pping his daughter in the face as she cried on August 19. He was also reportedly seen holding the infant by the back of her head while covering her face for about 19 seconds, leaving her legs flailing. In other incidents, he allegedly covered her face with his hand for several seconds.

The criminal complaint states that Webb yelled, “stop crying” and “you’re going to learn!”
