The Minister of Power, Joseph Tegbe, has assured Nigerians that electricity supply will begin to improve within 48 to 72 hours as the Federal Government works to address generation and transmission challenges responsible for recent outages.
He attributed the outages to planned maintenance at Egbin Power Station, gas supply constraints and damaged transmission infrastructure.
Tegbe said efforts were underway to restore affected generating units and improve gas supply. Punch Newspapers
