The Anambra State Police Command is seeking public assistance to locate the family of a 10-year-old boy, Chinecherem Onuwasoanya, who reportedly lost his way home after going out to play in Okpoko, Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State, on Saturday, November 1.
Preliminary interaction with the child revealed that he had left home to play but later became unable to find his way back or locate his family members.
A concerned resident who found the little boy wandering around promptly took him to the Okpoko Police Division for assistance.
The boy also disclosed that he is from Ebenebe, Anambra State.
The Police Command has commenced efforts to identify and contact his parents or guardians to ensure his safe reunion with his family.
Anyone with useful information that could help locate his parents or guardians is urged to contact the Okpoko Police Division or the Anambra State Police Command.
