President Bola Tinubu has defended his proposed $21.7 billion external borrowing plan, saying investments in highways, electricity and ports will create jobs, boost economic growth and improve Nigerians’ lives.
In an essay titled “From Reforms to Delivery,” Tinubu said borrowing should fund productive projects that benefit future generations.
The statement was issued on Thursday by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
