Benjamin, popularly known as Kill@boi, has told a Lagos State High Court how he allegedly discovered Instagram messages suggesting that his late girlfriend, Augusta Onuwaghagbe, was arranging a sexual encounter with another man for ₦1.5 million.
Nnayerugo, who is standing trial for Augusta’s alleged mürder, gave the account while testifying in his defence before Justice Ibironke Harrison at the Lagos State High Court, sitting at the TBS Annex, Igbosere.
According to his testimony, he accessed Augusta’s IG account after she returned to school and allegedly noticed conversations with unfamiliar accounts, some of which were later deleted.
He told the court that he subsequently came across messages from an account identified as “Yako” and became suspicious of the conversation, which allegedly involved payment for a proposed meeting.
Killaboi claimed that he created a WhatsApp account using the identity associated with “Yako” and continued the conversation with Augusta, during which she allegedly quoted ₦1.5 million.
He further told the court that he became emotionally distressed after the exchange and later confronted Augusta during a video call, accusing her of che@ting on him and declaring their relationship over.
