President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has stirred reactions after jokingly suggesting he could send Senate President Godswill Akpabio to the opposition camp to destabilize them.
Tinubu made the remark on Tuesday while delivering his speech at the inauguration of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) headquarters in Abuja.
Speaking humorously during the event, the President said, “Senate President, I will send you to the other side to represent me. And then you can scatter them to any way you want. They’re confused!”
He concluded his speech with a patriotic message, saying, “God bless Nigeria, God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria and the tax collectors.”
