Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, NDC candidate for Delta Central Senatorial District, has issued a strong warning to anyone planning to rig the 2027 general election, insisting that the future of Nigerians must not be compromised through electoral manipulation.
Speaking during a campaign, Omo-Agege said those attempting to rig elections were effectively rigging the future of the people, stressing that Nigerians would not sit back and watch their votes being manipulated.
He warned that anyone who attempted to rig the 2027 election should be prepared to face the consequences, using the phrase “rig and die” to emphasise his position.
“I want to make this statement clear: Anybody who attempts to rig this 2027 election, we will k!ll the person there instantly. If you don’t value your life, come and rig the election,” he said.
