A 21-year-old college lacrosse player, Maverick Lyon, has filed a federal lawsuit against the City of Albany, Oregon, and two police officers after surviving multiple g¥nshot w%unds during a police encounter.

After being sh%t, Maverick told the officers, “You guys sh%t the wrong guy. He was holding me hostage.”

In the lawsuit, Maverick accuses the officers of using excessive force and alleges negligence by the City of Albany and Benton County officials. However, the Benton County District Attorney’s Office previously ruled that the officers’ use of force was legally justified.
