A nurse identified as Taiwo Godwin Ayodeji has d+ed after suffering an asthma attack at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Aro, with a colleague alleging that oxygen was not administered despite his deteriorating condition.
According to an eyewitness who spoke to SaharaReporters, Ayodeji, a known asthma patient at the hospital, developed breathing difficulties while playing football and was taken to the facility. A friend who accompanied him reportedly said he was still able to walk into the emergency unit upon arrival.
The eyewitness alleged that although Ayodeji was placed on oxygen equipment, it was not turned on.
“I noticed he was on oxygen, but the oxygen was not put on,” the source said.
