The management of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE), Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has expelled a final-year student, Chiamaka Nora Onyewuenyi, over a viral video in which she claimed that her project supervisor was writing her final-year project for ₦150,000.
Onyewuenyi, a student of the Department of English and Literary Studies, made the claim during an interview with Port Harcourt-based content creator Joker Black.
In the video, she reportedly identified her project topic as “Citizenship” and alleged that her supervisor charged her ₦150,000 to write the project.
However, the university disputed her account, stating that there was no project topic titled “Citizenship” in the department.
According to the institution, the student later admitted that her claims were false and made solely for social media content but refused to retract them.
