E-hailing drivers in Lagos have staged a protest this afternoon, calling on ride-hailing platforms such as Bolt and inDrive to increase their fares following the sharp rise in fuel prices.
Speaking during the protest, one of the drivers said the rising cost of fuel was affecting their earnings, arguing that drivers should not be left to bear the burden alone while transportation fares remain unchanged.
The drivers are demanding a fare increase to reflect the current cost of fuel and other operating expenses.
