I gave God my N5k Salary and he sent my family N25k and bags of food. Giver got N1M — Pastor Ibiyeomie

David Ibiyeomie has stirred reactions after recounting a dramatic testimony about faith, sacrifice, and unexpected blessings during one of his sermons.

According to the cleric, the incident dates back to 1997 when his monthly salary was just ₦5,000. On the very day his wife planned to go to the market, he claimed he heard God instruct him to give out the entire amount as a sacrifice, despite it being his only money at the time.

Describing the moment as something that required deep faith, he said many people can “hear God” but struggle to act, which limits what they receive.

He went on to reveal that less than an hour after making the sacrifice, a woman who didn’t even meet him arrived with ₦25,000 cash, along with food supplies including rice, beans, and eggs, claiming she was also led by God.

The story didn’t end there. He added that the woman’s husband, whom he described as extremely stingy, surprisingly gave her ₦1 million that same day, something she said had never happened before.

The man also secured a job in Abuja shortly after. Pastor Ibiyeomie used the testimony to emphasize what he called a “chain reaction of miracles,” insisting that acting in faith can unlock blessings not just for one person, but for many others connected to the act.
