Mummy Owolabi, wife of Pastor Juwon Owolabi of Lightlife Church International, has sparked reactions after speaking about s+xual intimacy during a “Marriage That Works” programme.
While teaching married couples, she said women should understand and enjoy intimacy within marriage, stressing that s+x should not be viewed only as a means of having children.
“If you die without experiencing org@sm, you’ve lived a wasted life,” she said. “God created s+x, God instituted s+x and as a woman you have the right to enjoy org@sm.”
Mummy Owolabi, who said she got married as a virgin and initially knew little about s+x beyond biology, explained that she later realised intimacy was something she needed to deliberately learn about.
“I knew that okay, I need to understand because this is a body of knowledge, this is like a university,” she said.
