The Presidential Campaign train of the ruling party, All Progressive Congress stopped at Bayelsa state for a rally.
At the event, the current Minister of state for petroleum and former governor of Bayelsa state, Chief Timipre Sylvia, questioned the achievements of the opposition parties, Atiku Abubakar Of the People’s Democratic Party, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
“They say Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar but I told them that those people are no match for our candidate because we must look at their track records. What did Obi do in Anambra state when he was a governor?”, He said.
He lauded the APC presidential flagbearer, and described him as “very presidential”.
“Tinubu is very presidential and has a track record that nobody can beat. When they asked me why I am so sure that Tinubu is the best Presidential candidate, I also asked them who is contesting with him because I don’t know”, Sylva said.
The Presidential candidate of APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been under the lights, as questions have been flying about his identity and educational background.
However, the 70-year-old flagbearer has standing evidence of his successful political career in Lagos State. One of the richest states in the country, and an industrial hub.
