Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has been honored with a title by her hometown, Abba, in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The renowned writer was given the title of Odeluwa — the writer of global acclaim.
The award-winning author, who continues to put Nigeria on a global map received W.E.B Du Bois Medal from Harvard University on October 6, 2022.
The medal is the most prestigious award presented by Harvard to people in the field of African and African studies.
