A Zimbabwean lady has opened up on an old Nigerian TV series that aired regularly on the Zimbabwean national TV station, Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC).
In a bid to clear doubts of any kind about the TV show, she played the theme song of the series, which goes “This is super story”. Lyrics that most viewers related to.
The series “Super Story”, owned by Mike Adenuga was also recognized by Nigerians and other Africans to be an interesting series.
A Ghanaian confessed that the super story and other Nigerian movies portray African culture, hence their popularity across many African countries.
“It’s the same here in Ghana. Ghanaians love Nigerian movies. I remember super story, I never missed that show. Many Africans can identify with Nigerian movies bcos it portrays Africa. We can watch superman, spiderman, etc but these movies don’t portray the African story”, Joshua Asafo from Ghana wrote.
