Supporters of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, popularly known as ‘Obidients’ have taken their political rally to a new level as they took to the streets in the west African country of Liberia.
The video was posted by a Twitter user, Dr Eugene Nwos, and it was greeted by ‘bravo’ from Labour Party supporters and mockery from opposition party supporters, especially supporters of the ruling party, All Progressive Congress (APC).
The rally comprised a handful, but the message sent was worth ’25 gigabytes’, as the participants of the rally were lauded for making attempts at taking the message of Peter Obi, one of the most popular presidential candidates in the forthcoming presidential election, beyond the borders of Nigeria.
The 2023 presidential elections got heated when Peter Obi decamped from the chief opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to Labour Party. The rest is now history.
