The presidential candidate of the Labour Party was vocal as his campaign train stopped at Rivers State.
The 61-year-old former governor of Anambra state charged the large crowd that came to his rally to take money from his opponents, spend it, and vote for him.
“It’s our money that they stole, so collect the money, chop, and vote for me’, Obi implored the crowd.
This statement from Peter Obi is one for his supporters to bear in mind ahead of 2023 presidential election.
It was a similar plea from the renowned Nigerian singer, Davido, before the last gubernatorial elections in Osun state.
He asked Osun state voters to take money from whoever offers them money and vote for their choice.
