The video of a Muslim guy angrily abusing a small crowd of traditional worshippers in Ilorin has Nigerians in a rage right now.
The footage, according to PUNCH, was filmed in the Oko Owo neighbourhood of Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State.
The Muslim who was filming the incident was heard informing the women that they were not permitted to worship Osun in Ilorin, and advising them to stay away from the city if they wanted to continue.
The Muslim zealot and the women got into a verbal fight, with the women arguing that as they are natives, they have the freedom to practise whichever religion they choose.
Going towards another group of women by a river, the man threatened to stone them if they don’t stop the rituals they are performing and drop the calabash. An instruction that the women ignored.
