Nigerians living in Lagos State have aired their frustration against the electoral umpire, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), after they failed to get their permanent voters card (PVC) after staying for hours in a queue.
Prospective voters in the Oshodi Isolo area of Lagos State have been in the limelight, as a Twitter user, Nkem, shared of video of hundreds of Nigerians standing outside the INEC office, waiting to get their PVC.
Nigerians shared their experiences at the Oshodi Isolo INEC office.
“They know what they are doing. Oshodi isolo has always been Igbo territory since the day of PDP vs APC, pdp do get their highest votes in this area. LP has taken over now and they want to play this PVC game thing. You all need to stand still and get your cards”, a user, Adebola said.
“Same branch I went to on a Monday and was told my PVC is not available. I went the next Monday and got the PVC”, another user, Isiomabliss added.
