Electoral violence brews in its light stages as Igbo shops were destroyed after orders were allegedly given by the Baale of Ijeododo to vandalize the shops following the good outing of an Igbo tribesman and presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.
This happened a day after the former governor of Lagos State and a Yoruba tribesman, Bola Ahmed Tinubu failed to win in the polling at Ijeododo.
According to a narrator, the vandals didn’t destroy shops or kiosks belonging to other ethnic groups but just Igbos.
This is because they believed that the Igbos are the major voters of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.
