The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has confirmed attack on residents of Kubwa Relocation Estate, Arab Road, Kubwa, Abuja.
MAD earlier reported that some residents of the estate including a corps member, were abducted on Tuesday night, by gunmen.
The Commissioner of Police, Babaji Sunday, in a statement by the Public Relations Officer DSP Josephine Adeh, on Wednesday, revealed that two residents were shot during the invasion which occurred around 7.30 pm on Tuesday.
Sunday noted that three persons were rescued while a manhunt had commenced for the criminals.
He also assured the public that investigations had commenced to identify the suspects and bring them to book while ascertaining their mission and motives.
