Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he has survived at least five assassination attempts by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Making the revelation to journalists, he likened becoming accustomed to the apparently regular attempts on his life to growing used to the idea of Covid-19.
Mr Zelensky said on Monday he did not know exactly how many plots to kill him have been foiled by Ukrainian intelligence services, but claimed Russian forces “will use any instruments they have”.
