Kais Saied, the president of Tunisia has raised dust about the influx of Africans from Sub-Saharan Africa, mostly undocumented, into his country.
Saied said that there is a plot to alter his country’s racial demography with the recent influx of unregistered Sub-Saharan Africans.
“The goal of the waves of illegal immigration is for Tunisia to be considered purely African with no affiliation to Arabs”, Kais Saied.
This statement from the Tunisian president angered so many Africans who found his statement offensive, and stressed that the influx of migrants stems only from the fact that North African Country, Tunisia is a transit country.
