Tite has confirmed Neymar is on track be available for Brazil’s game against South Korea on Monday.
The 30-year-old forward trained with his team-mates on Saturday for the first time since the opening game of the World Cup. Neymar suffered an ankle injury in the win over Serbia.
Tite said on Sunday: “Regarding Neymar he’s going to practice this afternoon and if he is OK, he will play tomorrow. I don’t share any information that is not true. My answer is he will practice this afternoon, if everything goes well, he will play.”
It is a boost for Brazil, given Gabriel Jesus has been ruled out for the rest of the World Cup with a knee injury. He suffered the injury during the defeat against Cameroon on Friday.
