The Warner Bros. thriller ‘The Nun ll’ a sequel of the 2018 movie ‘The Nun’ beat Disney’s murder mystery movie ‘A Haunting in Venice’ to top the box office chart in the American movie box office for the weekend.
‘The Nun ll’ grossed $14.7 million in its second weekend to beat ‘A Haunting in Venice’ which $14.5 million to finish in second place.
Denzel Washington’s ‘Equalizer 3’ took third place with $7.23 million, bringing its American box office total to $73.68 million and global total to $132.4 million.
‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3’ landed in fourth place, adding $4.7 million in its second weekend of release, Greta Gerwig’s blockbuster ‘Barbie’ rounded out the box office chart with $3.5 million finishing in fifth place for the weekend in its ninth week of release
