The Nairaland CEO has dropped his facts about why he thinks the ASUU strikes have been consistent under almost every regime since its existence.
He explained that he has always been a staunch supporter of the unending industrial actions because he believed they are being owed by the government, but sadly it seems to have some selfish undertones from the ASUU leadership.
Seun Osewa listed out some reasons why he thinks ASUU loves going on strikes.
“ASUU is controlled by senior lecturers, who have side jobs & businesses”, The nairaland CEO said.
“Most govts fail to enforce “no work, no pay”. This makes going on strike profitable for senior lecturers. They earn from their side-gigs & still get paid as lecturers. Sweet”, he continued.
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has been ordered to tell its members to go back to work.
This court ruling came after 7 months of strike and students being at home.
