Aloy Ejimakor, legal counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has called on the Nigerian president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu not to follow in the footsteps of former president Buhari on the issue of self-determination.
Aloy Ejimakor made this call on his Twitter handle on Monday, where he wrote that self-determination is not a personal issue but a demand on Nigeria as a country.
“The demand for self determination is not personal. It is a demand on the Nigerian State, not against its President. It was Buhari that took it personal to the point that he killed & renditioned for it. President Tinubu should be smart enough not to repeat the same mistake”, Aloy Ejimakor wrote.
