The new feature, Instagram Thread has grossed over 50 million new registrations within 24 hours of opening, and a huge chunk of its users came from Twitter.
Twitter users flocked to Instagram Threads after the new Twitter CEO, Elon Musk announced new measures which offered increased advantages to verified users and high limitations for free users.
This new feature has been added to a list of features that the Instagram app has allegedly copied from several social media platforms.
