Sean Strickland became the latest in a long list of evidence that anything can happen in the UFC.
The 32-year-old pulled off a stunner with a unanimous win over Israel Adesanya to become the middleweight champion at UFC 293 from Qudos Bank Arena in Los Angeles.
While Adesanya was expected to walk through Strickland he got a wake up call in the first round. Strickland was competitive throughout the round but really raised eyebrows when he dropped Adesanya with a clean right hand.

The presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu, on Thursday, said the separation of Nigerian conjoined twins, Hassana and Hussaina, has commenced at the King Abdallah Specialist Hospital, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The spokesman made this known in a post shared on his Twitter page.
Sharing videos, he wrote, “The separation of the Nigerian conjoined twins Hassana and Hussaina started about five hours ago at the King Abdallah Specialist Hospital, Riyadh.
“The operation is expected to last about 14 hours. The operation is in Saudi Arabia and it started about five hours ago.
“ It will be recalled that the conjoined twins and their parents were airlifted to Riyadh on 9 November 2022 on the approval of the King to conduct their separation at the expense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."

West African country, Ghana have prioritized stamping our fraud from their social system and has made moves in that regard.
A scheme sponsored by UK authorities has been launched in Ghana, and it is aimed at teaching Ghanaian children not to scam British students.
As of the time of filing this report, more than 35,000 students have been taught how to avoid fraud in the Volta region of Ghana.

The PUNCH reported that the Federal Government will on Wednesday commence the evacuation of about 5,500 Nigerians, including students stranded in Khartoum and other cities in Sudan.
