The Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) has reacted to the protests against them.
This was after the news was filled with news of young men and women who are protesting against the highhandedness of EFCC and alleged harassment by personnel of the anti-graft agency.
EFCC replied to them through their Instagram handle:
“Okay i dey see yahoo boiz. i be like, wetin dey sup?
For my area na so-so noise. Anytime bah drop. How you go thief person money. Dey chop Go club, dey flex every. Still dey happy ontop?”

This post triggered a lot of people that urged the EFCC to continue apprehending internet scammers, while others are criticizing them for being powerless before politicians, who were described by the protesters at Ibadan as “the real scammers”.
