Air Peace has stated that the visas of all 264 passengers on its recent flight to Saudi Arabia were verified.
Saudi Arabia had revoked the visas of 177 passengers, citing incorrect information provided to obtain a visa category that didn’t apply to them.
Air Peace reaction to Saudi embassy’s claim is contained in a statement issued by its Chief Operating Officer, Oluwatoyin Olajide.
Air Peace emphasized that it operates scheduled flights between Nigeria and Jeddah, allowing the airlift of passengers with various types of visas.
The airline confirmed that all visas were checked and verified using the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ platform before departure.
