Following news of an alliance between the African Action Congress (AAC) and the Abdulmajid Daudu-led faction of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP), the AAC announced the endorsement of its presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, by the PRP.
This endorsement was revealed on Friday, in a statement signed by the AAC National Publicity Secretary, Femi Adeyeye.
“The AAC welcomes with great excitement the announcement of support of the PRP for our presidential candidate in the forthcoming elections, Omoyele Sowore.
“The PRP, the oldest party in Nigeria has declared support for the AAC in the forthcoming general election as alliance talks between both radical socialist parties reached a climax”, the statement read.
There are insinuations of parties forming alliances ahead of the 2023 general elections. PRP and AAC led the way.
