While Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United were among the first team to play in the mid-week, with Antonio Conte’s men settling for a draw with Brentford while Newcastle United thrashed Leicester City 3-0.
Manchester United on the other hand also thrashed Nottingham Forest 3-0 at Old Trafford, Chelsea outmuscled Bournemouth, while Manchester City was able to beat Leeds United at Elland Road to close the gap on the Gunners who ran riot against West Ham United.
However, this weekend’s game comes in handy with Manchester United traveling to the Molineux stadium to face Bournemouth, while Chelsea will also make a trip to City Ground to face Nottingham Forest.
Manchester City will host Everton at the Etihad Stadium, while league leaders Arsenal will have to travel to the Amex Stadium for a tough clash with Brighton and Hove Albion.
