The Edo State Police Command has arrested one Friday Igberase, for allegedly molesting a 60-year-old woman, Cathrina Ouke.
It was gathered that the 52-year-old suspect raped the victim on her farm in Uromi, Esan North East Local Government Area of the state.
The Commissioner of Police, Muhammed Dankwara, said the suspect was arrested by the Uromi division of the state command.
The CP said the division received a complaint from the victim that in July, the 52-year-old suspect attacked her on her farm, raped her and threatened to kill her should she told anyone.
“The victim also alleged that since the rape incident, she has been suffering from strange sickness.”
