Nigerian businessman, medical practitioner, and activist, Mahdi Shehu has warned northern Christians to avoid the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi in the 2023 general elections.
He said;
” Northern Christians should not vote Peter Obi, he is a die hard Biafran. If you vote Obi, you are voting for Biafra. No mincing of words, if you vote for Biafra, you are voting for
” A Christian from Taraba, Nassarawa, Bauchi, Kaduna, Benue, tell me the benefit you will derive by voting Obi. Just tell me one single benefit. The answer is there’s none.
” Go to Enugu, go to Aba, go to Nnewi, go to Akwa Ibom, any part of the South, as a Christian, go and ask for a land to build a church, I think Christianity is suppose to be universal, as a Christian from the North, you will never have one.
” But all over the North here, we have churches owned by people from the South, the land is owned by them, the church is owned by them, if you want to know that you belong to a different Christianity, go over there and ask for a land to build a church, not even a mosque,.
" Obi is not thinking Nigeria, quote me anywhere anytime, if there's break down of law and order in Enugu, they kill every Northerner whether Christian or Muslim."
