The people of Kano have taken to the streets to protest against the planned military offensive against Niger.
In a viral video, hundreds of demonstrators can be seen waving the flags of Nigeria and Nigerien while trampling on the French flag.
“No to war with Niger Republic,” chanted the demonstrators.
