Born Ninola Apata on the 15th of December 1986, is a singer and songwriter.
Ninola Started her career as an actor on the children Television programme KKB Show, alongside her sister Teni.
While in Secondary school, Ninola took part in social activities and competitions.
In 2013, Ninola took a bold step by participating in season six of Project Fame West Africa, where she emerged as the third runner up.
Ninola’s debut single titled ‘Ibadi’ in 2014 got huge national attention. And was used as the soundtrack for Gidi up season 2.
Her Maradona released in 2017 stayed thirteen weeks on South Africa’s Metro FM chat and held the number one spot for six weeks.
In July 2021, the song Maradona was certified gold in South Africa by the Recording Industry of South Africa.
Some awards won by Ninola includes Best African Collaboration for Mhilo Mhilo 2016, Choice Female Vocalist of the Year at Nigerian Teens Choice Awards 2013, Youth Artist of the Year Maya Awards Africa 2017, Best Vocal Performance Female The Headies 2017 and many more.
