With a marathon speech lasting 112 hours and 12 minutes, Christopher Olusa, a 24-year-old postgraduate student at the Federal University of Technology, FUTA, Akure, has accomplished a remarkable achievement.
This accomplishment beats the previous record, which was held by a Nepalese person named Ananta Ram from August 27 to August 31, 2018, for 90 hours and 2 minutes.
Despite Christopher Olusa’s best efforts, he was unable to fulfil his goal of 120 hours.
He started his lengthy speech at two in the morning local time on September 11, 2023, and finished it at six on Friday, September 15, 2023.
