Atanda Modupe, a nursing student at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) who was reported missing a few days ago, has been found dead.
Her body was discovered on Wednesday in Oye-Ekiti in a shallow grave, allegedly inside the school’s grounds, with head injuries and her eyes reportedly missing too.
She was last spotted outside the pharmacy twin hall at Federal University Oye-Ekiti on September 4, 2023, according to sources.
Traces of her vanished till when her body was discovered today.

The presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu, on Thursday, said the separation of Nigerian conjoined twins, Hassana and Hussaina, has commenced at the King Abdallah Specialist Hospital, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The spokesman made this known in a post shared on his Twitter page.
Sharing videos, he wrote, “The separation of the Nigerian conjoined twins Hassana and Hussaina started about five hours ago at the King Abdallah Specialist Hospital, Riyadh.
“The operation is expected to last about 14 hours. The operation is in Saudi Arabia and it started about five hours ago.
“ It will be recalled that the conjoined twins and their parents were airlifted to Riyadh on 9 November 2022 on the approval of the King to conduct their separation at the expense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."

The PUNCH reported that the Federal Government will on Wednesday commence the evacuation of about 5,500 Nigerians, including students stranded in Khartoum and other cities in Sudan.
