It’s rare to see individuals win the top prize of the show, “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire”, (WWTBAM), but the first man to do it in Nigeria was a history maker.
Meet Aroma Ufodike, a Nigerian who hails from Nnewi, in Anambra state. The first man to claim the top prize.
He was on air at the WWTBAM show in Nigeria on the 11th of September 2009.
He moved little by little, from the lowest price (N5000) till he got to the highest price (N10 million) on the show.
In the show, he got to 2 million naira before he used the lifelines available to him.
After the show host revealed to him that he got the last and 15th answer correctly to win 10 million naira, Mr Aroma celebrated like Jamaican sprinter, Usain Bolt.
