A security officer from KwaZulu-Natal is under police guard in hospital after he allegedly shot and killed his ex-girlfriend, her boyfriend, and her three-year old daughter.
Police are investigating three counts of murder and an attempted murder.
ALS Paramedics spokesperson, Garrith Jamieson said their officers received numerous reports of a shooting incident in Northdale.
He said on arrival paramedics were met with total devastation. Multiple casualties had been shot. The crime scene was split in two.
Her two-year-old son was also injured in the shooting in Nhlalakahle, KwaZulu-Natal.
The security officer, who worked for a private company, allegedly went to his ex-girlfriend’s residence in the Nhlalakahle informal settlement on Saturday morning.
When he arrived, an argument erupted and the security officer allegedly shot the 27-year-old woman, her current boyfriend, and her two children.
