He was an African-American Muslim minister & human rights activist who was a prominent figure during the civil rights movement. A spokesman for the Nation of Islam within the black community. He was Assassinated on 21st February, 1965.

He was the first elected prime minister of Congo, was shot dead by a firing squad while in custody near Kinshasa (then Léopoldville), apparently on the orders of Belgian forces and the CIA. He was assassinated on January 17, 1961.

- Julius Caesar
It was on the Ides of March (March 15) that Roman emperor Julius Caesar was stabbed to death by a group of senators, including his friend Brutus, on the Ides of March in Rome to stop him from gaining too much power. His death led to a series of civil wars.

The iconic American civil rights leader was fatally shot by James Earl Ray on a motel’s balcony in Memphis on April 4, 1968.
The killing led to a period of national mourning that helped speed up the passage of an equal housing bill.
