A young boy was spotted at a polling unit in northern Nigeria, armed with a Permanent Voters Card (PVC).
It would have taken that the small boy escorted his parents on an election morning to their polling unit, which is very unlikely based on sights at polling units in the past.
The narrative changed when the little boy pulled out his PVC from his pocket, marking him out as a child voter.
Nigerians go berserk in previous elections when they see such things and were given assurances late last year by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that it won’t happen again, but it happened in the ongoing 2023 presidential election.
