Following the recent trend of allegedly falsified results uploaded on the INEC result viewing portal, a comic relief about the unstable election portal also popped up.
A certain ward in the Ado Ekiti local government area of Ekiti state, Ado ‘II’ Inisa ward, has uploaded the picture of a young lady instead of the election results from the ward.
Some Nigerians couldn’t help but laugh at the incompetence and unprofessional acts of the allegedly trained INEC staff and the BVAS machine handlers.
However, other Nigerians interpreted the selfie uploaded as something else other than plain incompetence.
“The face of this lady might be related to the person manipulating these results. Let’s dig deep”, a netizen wrote.
The INEC presidential election portal has been filled with blurred pictures of election result pages, which leaves much to be desired in an election where billions of naira were budgeted for and spent to ensure the commission delivers a high-quality service to the country, s she seeks to elect her new leaders.
